Grandma Nan and Grandpa Gary spent two weeks with us at the beginning of December. Ian still was obsessed with "GrammaNan," but this time the rest of us were allowed into his circle as well. The love was distributed a little more even.
One of our excursions was to the zoo. The fear of the scary bird was conquered! This bird pecks at fingers against the window which is something that Ian wanted no part of. This time he had a firetruck that helped him overcome the fear.
The giraffes are always a hit with little man. We got a good look at their long tongues!
Ian and Grandpa Gary watches a video of a giraffe baby birth. Its birthday is almost the same as Ian's. "Baby giraffe fall on the ground."
Another adventure was a drive down to P-town. We did some window shopping, stopped at a coffee shop, and then Ian and Grandma Nan looked for rocks and shells on the beach.
Ian was introduced to football via Grandpa Gary. Here Grandpa Gary is teaching Ian about field goals and kicking. It's intense.
Christmas came early for Ian. Grandpa Gary and Grandma Nan gave him a brand new bike!
Right now the next grandparent visit is planned to be in June. We're hoping we can figure something out sooner than that. Six months is too much time to pass. Ian'll be a different little man!
